Finally, all of my crap arrives in a large container!
I've spent the last month living in a place with no furniture. Wait. Not entirely true. I have a lamp, two chairs, and an inflatable mattress. Tomorrow everything changes. Oh glorious day! A pod will arrive with all of my stuff from Dallas.I will still need to buy a mattress and a couch but this is great.
Did I mention I met the woman of my dreams. And I must be dreaming. I told her last night that I couldn't have imagined that driving across the country with no job lined up would have ended this good. I found a job within 10 days, met my girlfriend within a month. I am not sure why everything seems to be going my way right now, but I am just going to go with it and see what happens.

It's great she believed you didn't up and move with a fake ID cos you committed a heinous crime. I mean, all the signs were there- no job, two chairs, and an inflatable mattress. Those are the textbook signs of someone addicted to watermelon pancakes, zip ties, and paper clips. I think if you'd have offered her a side of tator tots and BK's, she might not be speaking to you.
