I was reading this article about what some of our injured soldiers and their families have had to endure after returning home. Besides the physical and mental damage the soldiers have had to deal with, it seems as though "half of the families of the seriously wounded experience a drop in the their standard of living." I never had thought too much about this. I hadn't thought about how the families of the injured make huge sacrifices as well. I cannot believe that our government does not do more for those who have risked so much. I decided to make a donation in hopes that it may help. It's not much but if more people would do it, I imagine it would make a great impact on the lives of those that need it the most.
I noticed on SignOnSandiego.com that they have webcams around the city that allow you to zoom in, not just view the standard webcam shot. Select the webcam location, then click inside the image to zoom in.
