BidPay: Online Auction Payment Services
Someone decided to use my credit card this morning to buy something. Who knows what. It was paid through BIDPAY.COM. In an effort to maintain top customer satisfaction, BIDPAY.COM does not list a phone number on their website but instead offers a fax number. That's a great service there. Bastards. So, I checked network solutions and found this fruitcake. While dave was kind enough to give me his *(R& companies 800#, it's rediculous I had to go thru this to contact them regarding CREDIT CARD FRAUD!!!
So I called BIDPAY and they did say that it looked like some fraudulent activity was going on. And that they would not allow anymore transactions to be made. Well great. They told me to contact local authorities...blah blah blah. When I asked them what they were going to do to stop this from happening - perhaps look up the USER attempting to use my credit card number and they might just find an address. (its amazing these ideas I come up with). The lady quickly said they couldnt do that and that I should contact my local authorities blah blah. Her voice fades off as I press disconnect.
So this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Last time it was a bunch of kids in Taipei (racked up about $4k). This time its an AOLer in New York, NY.
